The Clothing Bank

A grassroots clothing charity based in Yorkshire, The Clothing Bank is an instrumental cause dedicated to combating the UK’s rising clothing poverty. Founded just before the 2020 Covid-19 pandemic, this charity collects and donates preloved clothing to UK adults, families and children currently living in clothing poverty. A relatively small team, the bank has a growing network of volunteers and online supporters, all dedicated to bridging the gap in the support available to those struggling to afford clothes.
This is a charity that truly serves no purpose other than to help those most in need, who otherwise may go unnoticed and unsupported by society.
Upon hearing about The Clothing Bank, which has provided essential clothing, school uniform, work attire, shoes and bags to over 20,000 UK people since 2020, we knew that Crush could help. So, we decided to lend them a hand in their brand, design and digital development, as part of a pro-bono community project dedicated to championing small not-for-profit organisations. With a logo design having already been designed by the charity, we supported in further developing The Clothing Bank’s brand with a cohesive colour palette and bespoke illustrations, as well as campaign ideas and an effective website detailing all the incredible work that they do. In today’s age, we knew that this would be important in supporting the charity’s ambitions to help more people living in clothing poverty.
